The Canadian Hemlock tree is a beautiful landscape specimen that can be shaped easily for hedge or screen use. If it is left un-pruned, the Canadian Hemlock will naturally grow to a height of about 60-70'. It has short green needles, prefers well-drained soil, and will tolerate shade.

The Dwarf Alberta Spruce tree is a very slow growing, conical miniature Spruce tree. It has bright green new growth that changes to a blue-green. The Dwarf Alberta Spruce is useful in small gardens. It needs some winter protection; cover during freezes. This Spruce likes full sun to part shade.

The Norway Spruce Tree is one of the faster growing Spruces and is a native of Northern Europe; where it is prized as a valuable timber tree. It is noted for its pendulous branching habit, dark and shiny green needles and large cones. The Norway Spruce does better than other Spruces on poor, drier soils, but prefers loams. It is hardy and durable, and good for screening and specimen.

The White Pine tree is widely used for timber, serves as an excellent ornamental and Christmas tree in some places and has five needles. Its rapid growth and limber branches require plenty of shaping and retains its needles well. White Pine does best in moist loams in full sunlight. We sell semi-sheared or heavy sheared white pine trees.
